HomeKeepr: The AFTER app
February 9, 2015This post submitted by Wendy Lunt, Director of Marketing Technology for WFG National Title Company in Seattle, Washington. Wendy and several members of the WFG marketing and technology team recently attended the Inman News Real Estate Connect conference in NYC on a mission to find useful products and platforms that our clients can benefit from. Below is one such product.
HomeKeepr is one of the stand-out applications I encountered at Inman’s Real Estate Connect NYC event this year. Their unique value proposition comes at a time in the sales cycle that is typically overlooked – after the closing.
Here’s how it works:
In 3 easy steps you set up your personalized app that will keep you top of mind when referrals are at the fingertips of your sphere.
Step 1: Upload your list of trusted vendors for all things home maintenance, as well as community businesses & services.
Step 2: Invite your clients and sphere to download your personalized app.
Step 3: Add new vendors/service providers on a regular basis which sends a push notification to their phone, bringing you back to top of mind as the professional that you are.
Then, once a month, anyone who has downloaded your app will also receive home maintenance reminders, branded to you, to help them keep their most valuable asset in tip top shape. They can also refer to your app when they need a vendor/service that you have endorsed (lawn maintenance, handyman, etc) not to mention share your contact info directly from the app with the next person they know getting ready to buy or sell their home.
Need a reason to connect with your sphere and past clients? Send out a request via social media, email, text or call asking for referrals to add to your trusted vendor list. Remember to ask if they have a business or service that you can refer as well…and let the reciprocity begin.
These gentle reminders, paired with the monthly home maintenance tips are the digital impressions that will keep you in front of them when they have a referral.
