TechBytes: FB Messenger business feature and shoes that may change our industry
December 11, 2015TechBytes are meant to be small bytes of easily digestible technology news as it relates (mostly) to the real estate industry. Curated by Jeff Bernheisel – West’s VP of Project Development.. We hope you enjoy!
Facebook just switched on a pretty cool feature that allows those who already have the Facebook plugin “like box” on their site to integrate a Facebook Messenger tab. Essentially, clients can now visit your website — more likely than not though their smartphone — and find a box on the page that allows them to chat or send messages to you through Facebook Messenger.
ShiftWare. This technology is potentially game changing (and I generally hate that term) for many industries, including real estate.
Imagine hanging a yard sign or perma-flyer, and being able to edit it right from your phone. Price change? No need for a new sign rider, just make the change in the app and it shows up instantly. Sounds crazy, right? Watch the video below to see it in action on the ShiftWare sneakers.
People wrap their cars with their branding… now you can digitally wrap your shoes too! I see a TON of potential with this technology.
Speaking of cars, if you spend a lot of time in yours like most of us in the real estate industry, you should check out the Open Road app. Open Road provides a unified driving experience for turn-by-turn navigation, music, calling, and more. Everything you need in the car. In one app.
